Made-to-Order Items: Production Time & Shipping.
Some of the items we sell are made-to-order, meaning they’re produced specifically for you after your order is placed.
For Gilbert stock product that is being customized (embroidery or heat transfer) these items typically take 2–3 weeks for production before they are ready to ship. Due to current demand, some orders may take closer to 3–4 weeks.
For POP UP team stores that are for fully custom sublimated items (training shirts golf polos, etc.) all orders are placed with the factory as a batch order at the end of the two week order window (to meet minimum quantities). The time to create the products is 6-8 weeks from the date that the order window closes.
What does made-to-order mean?
- Items customized for a club with embroidered logos or heat-pressed artwork.
- For example:

If you purchased a pair of shorts that include your club name in the product title—like "YOUR CLUB NAME RFC Saracen Shorts" —that’s a custom team item being produced just for your club.

Items with personalization, like a player name or number added to the back of a jersey or hoodie.

Why does it take 2–3 weeks for customizing stock items and 6-8 weeks for custom sublimated?
Made-to-order items go through several steps:
• Product creation or sourcing
• Customization or personalization
• Final quality control checks
This ensures you’re receiving a fresh, high-quality item that meets your specifications.
When will my order ship?
As soon as production is complete, your order will ship using the method selected at checkout. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as it’s on the way.
Where will my order ship to? My club or directly to me?
If your club has opted to have all the team items shipped in bulk order, you can select "local pick up" for shipping at check out and your club equipment manager will arrange distribution of orders. You are also welcome to select your own shipping address and choose to have your order shipped directly to you.
