These incredible folks are working to grow the game of rugby in Canada. We have a diverse group of athletes, coaches and community builders who are inspiring the next generation of rugby players. You can read each of their bios to learn about the clubs and programs they are part of. At Gilbert we truly believe that rugby makes your life better - through not only the teamwork, fitness and confidence grown by playing, but by the community and support that rugby is uniquely known for. We are so incredibly grateful and proud to have the opportunity to support these Champions and shine a light on the projects they are connected to. Matilda Boggs, a scrum half for the Oakville Crusaders, is passionate about rugby's inclusive and empowering environment. She leads the forwards for the U18 girls' team and has extensive experience coaching various age groups from 6 to 18. Hunter also values giving back to her community, regularly assisting her former high school. She's a strong advocate for rugby, frequently sharing her passion and experiences on her Instagram account and in conversations with almost everyone she encounters.

Charleigh Goldberg has a deep-rooted love for rugby, having played the sport since she was 7 years old. She currently competes for Wilfrid Laurier University Women's Varsity Rugby and is a dedicated member of the Burlington Centaurs. Charleigh is committed to increasing girls' participation in rugby, and she actively works towards this goal. She conducts introductory rugby sessions for elementary school students in the Halton District School Board and Halton Catholic District School Board. Inspired by her parents, who shared their own rugby experiences, she is committed to promoting the sport to young girls. Tylie actively participates in rugby development by assisting with Multi Sport days, where she introduces young girls to the fundamentals of rugby. His mentors, Paul "Father" Carnes and Todd Pritchard, were his early coaches. Dave is deeply involved in the Regina rugby community, serving as the President of Regina Minor Rugby and coaching multiple teams. He also leverages social media to connect with and inspire others in the rugby community.

Now playing rugby at the University of Calgary, Bree continues to develop her skills while giving back to the rugby community. She plans to represent Manitoba on the U19 team and coach the U17 boys' provincial team. Fernando Garcia's connection to rugby spans several roles and continents. His journey began as a college player in Mexico, leading him to pursue a career as a match official. Fernando has proudly represented Mexico on the international stage and currently serves as a referee for both Rugby Mexico and Major League Rugby (MLR). In addition to his refereeing duties, he is dedicated to developing the next generation of rugby players as a coach at Instituto de Ciencias, where he also teaches high school history, demonstrating his deep commitment to both education and the sport.
